Warrior Cats PMV Project WIP

Hey!! For once in a blue moon I'm taking a break from comms to do a project, so here's a sneak peek for patrons!! (Also means I'll probably have less highres files to show at the end of the month, I will probably post the stills since this takes a significant amount of time @_@

But I'm really excited about it so far, I really do like video editing even though I think I might make it more convoluted than necessary since I'm purely self-taught... haha

The theme

Anyway, this PMV is focused on Squirrelflight, and if you're not privy to Warrior Cats, she ends up taking in her sister Leafpool's kits because of circumstances and the whole video is basically the culmination of the events that occur because of that lie. Ashfur, the grey cat is a jilted ex-lover of sorts.

Technical stuff/background info

This PMV has gone through very little planning and is pretty spontaneous, sometimes I try to roughly thumbnail it out but this time I'm just winging it because... I work better this way sometimes LOL. 

The first thing I did was scribble up the essential character designs one night, seen above

I started actively working on it on Saturday, so what you're seeing is about 4 days of work into it (it's pretty intensive though, I have about 15 hours of drawing logged and I'm not sure how much time I've spent video editing), BUT I am going to assume it will probably be completed within the month because I'm not very good at working little by little and instead just focus super hard on it...! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

By the end I estimate it'll be about 2 minutes and 30 secs long; unless I change my mind along the way haha

Here's a super rough color guide for the chorus part, I just kind of went ahead and sort of scribbled on the character sheet to keep some colors for the first part of the video steady haha... I have a very chaotic process I feel like

Just for fun, here's how the project file looks so far!!! I am very excited to see it finished. The current art may not be final, I might still go around tweaking things, but I thought I'd let patrons see a glance! Also I will list current patrons at the end of the video!

Anyhow, I think if I worked strictly on it for about another week or so I could get it finished, but I'll be taking some time the next few days to finish Patreon rewards so I don't leave you guys hanging. No rush anyhow, I'm really excited about this, it's my first PMV in 4 years!!
