Sketching and Lines!
Added 2023-01-11 16:17:50 +0000 UTCI‘m not sure if this is useful or even particularly interesting, but I‘ve been messing around with a new way of doing my lines. Instead of doing line art I’m sketching (my Procreate sketch brush if anyone is interested: https://ko-fi.com/s/961a2469a6) and then erasing the sketch as needed. It seems to be a really good way of retaining the character you get in sketches that always seems to be lost when you do the line art, and gives a pretty interesting effect in places!

Joops this is super helpful and interesting indeed!I've tried this tecnique a couple of times, cause I always prefer my sketches (especially faces and expressions) over the final pieces. every DAMN time. But I also do super messy and like 4/5 layer sketches before lineart and find it hard to clean up so many lines🥲 Do you recommend a specific type of brush for erasing? Thank you sm
