Important Message Regarding Patreon iOS App Purchases

If you’re seeing this post, it’s nothing too serious, just a PSA regarding Patreon’s new change to most creators accounts and the unfair added fee Apple charges new members (regardless of tier) up to $5 extra, which is a pretty absurd amount…
Not to mention the up to 75 day wait for such transactions to be received on the creator’s end, and even that’s not guaranteed due to iOS implications and potential transaction errors…
So if you’re reading this and are already subscribed through the iOS app, consider resubscribing to the website version in advance for next month, you’ll be paying $5 less and both sides are happier at the end of the day with far less complications! ☺️
That said, that’s about all I had to say regarding this particular issue, hopefully at some point Patreon and Apple sort all of these things out, but for now it’s just way better to go do things through the website, and for you app users, sure I know it’s more steps included but it’ll be much better this way for both sides~ ❤️
