The pictures are right from the beginning but a lot of more Story is already implemented in the Game -> sadly I didnt have time to make them as I would say I need 30 more pictures as the Story in the game is now. (And a lot will follow as I write more Story)
The journal gives the Player the first clue what this island really is. (Can be found if you look around the beach. Feel free to read it.
Second of all I want to explain the first wg stage and one of the last. If you dont want to get spoiled dont read any further. (So as Elara explore the island she can gain weight. As this is a special Island and needs fat human to survive. Kinda like the anime "Hells Paradise) -> this will be explained clearer later.
So the island looks on the first wg stage pretty shit. But as more the player gains the more she wants to stay and her reality gets twisted.
WG Stage 1 - Slightly Clouded Perception:
Description:
At this stage, Elara’s perception begins to blur slightly. She starts to see the village through a haze, and her senses are affected by the curse. The horror of the villagers’ fate is still present but distorted.
Perception:
Visual: The transformation of the villagers is less clear. The cursed plants and the villagers’ bodies are somewhat obscured by a veil of distortion. The grotesque details are harder to distinguish, and the true horror is less apparent.
Emotional Response: While still uneasy, Elara finds it harder to maintain her fear. The cursed food becomes more tempting as her senses are clouded. She begins to feel a strange draw to the food, despite her growing unease.
WG Stage 5 - Embracing the Curse:
Description:
By Stage 5, Elara has almost completely succumbed to the curse. Her perception of reality is dominated by her insatiable hunger.
Perception:
Visual: The village is now seen as a paradise of food and indulgence. The cursed plants are perceived as delectable treats, and the villagers’ fate is completely ignored. The horror of their transformation is lost in the overwhelming allure of the feast.
Emotional Response: Elara is almost entirely consumed by her desire to eat. The sight of the villagers and the village itself is overshadowed by her craving for more food. The concept of the curse is ignored as she embraces the transformation.
Dialogue:
“I can’t stop thinking about eating. Everything here looks so perfect. I don’t care about anything else anymore. I just want to consume it all.”
