Weekly Progress Report (January 6th 2022)

GN:TT – I have begun the planning for Chapter 6 and a big surprise is coming!  With the next PUBLIC release, the public will be able to choose between the usual Twine version OR a new Renpy version!  You all voted and this way everyone wins!

SB:C – I have sent everything to the programmer for Trixie, so barring little hiccups/tweaks, we should have the new release of SB:C really soon!  I know my original plan was to have it all done and out by Jan 1st, but I came very close even with being unable to work for a whole month while waiting for the new computer to be built (after the first one caught fire while it was being repaired).  So, please just remain patient for a bit longer and you can enjoy Trixie's release!

Shown here is the first Commissioned Bad End, and this is the mockup that I sent to the programmer.  Unlike my novels, the Bad Ends will not be unlocked (at least for now, unless you fans think they should be rewards as you convert or something), but otherwise, I want the menu there in the memory chamber.  I have listened to feedback on a couple of things to mention as well.  One is that the Memory Chamber's back button will work better and will appear on the "room select" menu where it has been missing.  The other is that I know I have gotten a lot of complaints about the size of the download, and so, I have lowered all the resolutions on the artwork to make the file size lower.

* PLEASE NOTE - I do intend on the final release to have three versions.  An ultra condensed, a "normal" (which is what Trixie's file size will be), and a High Res (will probably run around 10 gigs or more) with the 4k art that has been in the game up until Trixie's release.

General News – So, I just got off the phone with PC Laptops and they say in about a week, the old computer will be ready to pick up.  So, I will then have the backup computer I can use if needed.  So, at least future giant computer catastrophes won't set me back so badly!  Thank you to those that increased your patronage to help me pay for the new one though.  I hope all of you had a happy holiday season!  As always questions and comments are welcomed here and in Discord, and thank you again!
