1937 Tripoli v0.90, by Sergio Loro & updated by Historic Sim Studios, early access release!

The 1937 Tripoli circuit was initially released for Grand Prix Legends. Historic Sim Studios is proud to transform the janky GPL Tripoli port with direct input, permission, and feedback from the original track creator, Sergio Loro. NOW the definitive remaster for Assetto Corsa is in progress with your support. This project will be publically available throughout its early access development period.

The 13.14 km (8.17 mile) purpose built Mellaha Lake Tripoli track was constructed in time for the 1933 Tripoli Grand Prix. The circuit was insanely fast, dangerous, featured a state of the art garage, innovative starting lights, and premier spectator facilities that could seat 10,000 fans in the main grandstand alone. The Tripoli GP was believed to be essentially dead, having not had a race in 3 years... yet the advanced Mellaha Lake Tripoli circuit came as out of nowhere as one of the 1930s' most advanced racing circuits in the world. The circuit held 8 grand prix events from 1933 to 1940, with the first 6 events run to the Formula Libre standard, meaning that no weight or engine restrictions were enforced... on the what was the fastest racing circuit on earth! From 1933 to 1940, Mercedes Benz claimed three victories, Alfa Romeo two victories, with Auto Union & Bugatti each earning one victory apiece.
