You know how wild it is that a single trip to the ER, or just trying to stay alive, can leave you drowning in bills for years. Like, imagine surviving something traumatic only to be punished financially for it because of this privatized system we have here in the States. That’s where Undue Medical Debt steps in — they literally buy up people’s unpaid medical bills and erase them. GONE. Just like that. It's kinda like they’re playing Robin Hood, but for medical expenses.
We’re donating to this cause because it's not only about charity — it’s about justice. Nobody should have to choose between getting treatment and keeping their home, or paying for insulin and paying rent. This organization helps real people get their lives back, and the best part? A little goes a long way. Every dollar we donate helps wipe out hundreds of dollars in debt. That’s real impact, and it’s why the team and I are proud to stand behind it. So if you’ve got even a few bucks to spare, let’s do something that actually changes lives. Let’s make noise — and make a difference!

If anyone in the HT community is personally struggling with medical debt in the US - PLEASE try checking out dollarfor.org as well! They can help you get your debt forgiven by the hospital/medical provider directly and give you the skills to fight back against unethical hospital billing! Basically in a huge percent of cases patients have a right to have their bills waived at hospitals with "non profit" status and hospitals are just not following the law and DollarFor helps people get through the policies to advocate for yourself!
