You Can't Stop the Beat is an insanely long song and sooo dance heavy. But it was genuinely such a great time for me and still has a special place in my heart almost 15 years later.

The role of Tracy's mom is always played in drag traditionally in the stage versions of the musical, and that stemmed from the 1988 film (not a musical) that it was based on. Getting John Travolta to play Edna was so incredible. Imo they didn't let him dance enough, but they gave him parts in Welcome to the 60s, Timeless To Me, and You Can't Stop The Beat to show off his skills.
