Entering service in the early 1980s, these warships are equipped with powerful weaponry, including the P-270 Moskit (SS-N-22 Sunburn) supersonic anti-ship missiles, naval guns, torpedoes, anti-aircraft missile systems like the SA-N-7 Gadfly, and sophisticated electronic warfare and radar systems.
