2021-03-03 19:58:26 +0000 UTCYears ago Nuke MM/LELT, was fascinated with the NR-1 reactor documentation while at Nuclear Power Prototype. After getting out and receiving a degree in ocean engineering, went to work at EB where I saw NR-2 components. While there, was told that NR-2 was canceled after Congress found out about the NR-1. Also viewed the full-size mockup of the NR-1 while working on the full-scale SSN-21 mockup. Had to visit Mechanicsburg every other month as part of work where I saw NR-2's reactor vessel (if memory serves me right). Have now been at AUTEC since 1999.
