Schedule for JANUARY 2025 - First post of the year!

Hello everybody! I hope you all arrived well in the new year! 🥳🎉✨🎉✨💖

Just yesterday I came back home from spending New Years with my best friend and her family - my best New Years Eve in probably 6 years or more! :D And I'm happy to say, my condition has stayed the same, if not improved. My health is back on track, no worsening or returning of cold symptoms, I'm ready to start the new year head-on!

I am most positively surprised that SO many old and new faces have returned over the past couple of days over the holidays - thank you all so much for your support, I am more than excited to star the new year with all of you! 🥹🥰

And I have good news:
My new PC will be build and installed THIS Sunday. 🎉✨
I spent 6 hours today to save EVERYTHING I need from my old PC onto my external harddrive, so that we'll have smooth sailing on Sunday to get all my data onto the new drive.

Due to me preparing everything for my new setup, this first week of the year is unfortunately a bit slow in terms of content for Patreon - but if all works out well, I'll officially start my regular work schedule again next Monday on January 6th.

NOW, as promised in my previous update...

Here are my plans for January, sorted by priority:

• Finsh next "El's Alolan Adventures" update 

• Commission work (will be worked on simultaneously)

• Apply for Polaris Convention in Hamburg

• Cut and upload last month's Anniversary Livestream on YT

• If I manage to finish the current comic update within this month, I'll start boarding one of the many video ideas I had ( more EAA-centered content, either an animatic or memes/vines)

These will be my main goals for January. If time allows it, I will work on the following tasks as well (these will be contineously worked on over the next couple of months) :

• Finish card symbols and card design for "Herds of Epona" (fantasy horse trading cards)

• Finish translation for Gardendragons Guidebook (this will take a bit, now that I've reached the gardening part)

This perfectly sums up my current most urgent projects.
The overall goal for me this year is to improve my work ethic and efficency with more strict working hours set with no distractions allowed within that time-frame (aka the INTERNET).
I'm not planning on working /more/ as in more hours within the week than I already am - more that I want to be more efficient within the same set hours or LESS, as I've noticed just how easily social media interupts my workflow at times, a trap one oh so easily falls into when you're forced to look up referencs online for work - but also having made it a habit to listen to video essays in the background while working. I know that a lot of my colleagues do it as well, it's like radio in the background. But sometimes it does grab my attention and distract me, so I have to quit it and only listen to music instead. WISH ME LUCK ON BREAKING THOSE OLD HABITS...

My second goal is to become an active vendor at conventions again! That's why I want to get my horse cards printed within the next few month and am prioritising it over my book translation right now. Here's a test print of the current look (not final):

I also hope that with my new PC and new set hours of concentrated work I'll make far better progress with my comic updates. I'm also considering testing out Clip Studio Paint, see if I might switch from my old Photoshop CS6 version. We'll see!

I'm very excited to start the new year with some actual big changes this time around - I've had my old PC for 9 years, so it's really been time for a new one.
You can expect me to do some test streams on Discord once my PC is set, test out the waters, hopefully see the difference! :D
