It's a very bittersweet ending. Myungha is finally happy but it took him dying to get there. He's still dead but at least he's with Yeowoon

The grandmother and the ex girlfriend are like current existence from both worlds. That can create some kind of bug and make the woman remembers. I loved that all the story was never about making Yeowoon happy to begin with but in fact making Myungha realize that he could be happy too. They gifted him a second chance in life to find happiness. Also I don't know if you realized or if someone told you in the comments but each time something stressful happened in the series it was like we were underwater. The sounds effect I meant. It was what I liked the most about the show, the details.

I also think in the end its Yeowoon who wrote "please make Myungha happy" and since Yeowoon is practically he himself then its Myungha finally deciding to love himself and be happy

In the end it didn't translate(this site has bad translation tbh) but they wished us happiness and thanked for watching lfls and I think its sweet from creators❤️ I think series shows that there are always people in the world who love us and appreciate us, never give up on life even if it seems everyone left you...

Also the whole purpose of the game was never make Yeonwoo happy but to show Myungha how to love himself and be happy through the character of Yeonwoo.

Yeonwoo was someone who was created by the writer(Grim reaper or God) to show Myungha himself. Yeonwoo was very similar as they were both raised by their Grandmas and lost them and were basically alone with no one to love them. When Myungha broke up with Yeonwoo he chose to give up and that’s why he was deleted and the server went down. He gave up on happiness and basically his life. Did you notice when he is given another chance to love Yeonwoo that the aspect ratio changed to full screen when they met on the beach? This signifies that it’s no longer a game but is now a real world that Myungha gets to live in with Yeonwoo and be happy. The reason the time lines are out of sync is that Myungha comes back to the time he left the game and Yeonwoo time has not stopped so he is 2 days ahead of him. It’s very clever that Myungha knows where Yeonwoo will be in 2days so he tells him to wait and immediately gets a bus to go and sync the timelines up when they meet. I absolutely love this series. Korean BL’s are really taking it to another level. The one you were trying to think of is To my Star 1&2 which is another along with Eighth Sense,My Dating SIM, Light on me and Love Class 2 are examples of how K BL is for me just killing it over the past couple of years😊

The way i interpreted it was that he already knew Yeowoon beforehand, when he was young. It's because i think the Senior who wrote this novel isn't a real person, he's like a personification of death or sth? So for me the scenes in the bar where they were talking about the novel and the game happened after Myunghas death. So maybe he knew Yeowoon in the past, since his ex girlfriend and his grandma and mom were also in the "game"? Like the "game" was just his past that he could re-live? I hope you can understand what i mean 😅 English is not my first language
