I gotta say, I was expecting this season to be a flop adaptation wise, but there were surprisingly enough decently animated moments throughout the actual U-20 match to exceed my expectations (even if the bar was on the floor for me). Also, the tease for the Neo Egoist League, oh man. If you thought this arc was crazy, wait until you see what's to come. All I pray is that they ACTUALLY take their time to animate the next arc and create a godly adaptation. Luckily, the U-20 arc culminated in a satisfactory result imo, but I'd love to see the love and care they provide for the goals throughout everything and not just those specific goals. Nonetheless, this was a great final expectation and I love how they went widescreen on that final goal. That was just a cherry on top for what the stakes were.
