Added 2023-11-19 09:00:03 +0000 UTCThe danish band Siamese asked me to do them some new promo shots due to a new release of a single they had planned for mid November. π That was totally a job for me so we met up in the studio and freestylet while listening to the new single. π₯³ππ»
When working with bands (or other groups of people) the margin for failures is always larger than working one-on-one with a model, due to the fact that all of a sudden you have to capture 4 or 5 faces at a time. π
There's aaaaalways someone blinking or doing stupid faces, while the rest looks badass. ππ€·π»ββοΈ
So normally you get like 8 or 9 out of 10 photos, which are usable - but when working with groups it's like 2 or 3 out of 10!
We did some different color setups, working with both red, yellow and blue backdrops, while I shot on an Elinchrom RX600 system, mostly with just one light. π€
I used my Canon R5. In december there will be released a behind the scenes video showing us doing one of the setups. βΊοΈ
When I did the solo portraits I only adjusted the angle of the light and moved it slightly more back + tilted it a bit. The purpose was to angle it and get some more controllable shadows to work with. π
