Hey Crew!
This seems like a good moment to ask which current storylines you're most interested in. I don't want to give away spoilers, so will ask you to make your decisions in the dark 🕶 [aside from a few leading/misleading emojis 😂].
The poll is multi-choice, so vote for as many storylines as you like, and make sure to leave any thoughts or questions down in the comments.

lol, I thought that the Heaven & Hell storyline was finished? 😆 (and in theory the Shifter storyline got to an end, although not a definitive one apparently) The Rebel underground storyline is very interesting in the sense that it doesn't feel like a proper storyline but more of a background worldbuilding stuff, so that would be intriguing to develop. And it's connected to Rydick, right? In a sense I also thought that the psi-power was more of a background thing, activated at need by the MC when needed or to use as a deus-ex-machina, glad to see it's going to be a bit deeper.

Dave, Lenore, HanZi & Rydick are the main Underground figures, though. And yes - the Morgana storyline will create a new character. I'm kind of nervy about how that character will be received, since it's much more of a joke than the sexy lady most players seem to be expecting 😬 PS: and yes - adding character & content might be better next time.

And yes - the Cole storyline will be told through flashbacks [with plenty of Bailey content!] Gilly would too - but looks like she's staying on the bench for a while 😅

2024-06-18 21:41:41 +0000 UTCI'm most interested in the Morgana storyline, especially since I expect the baby to be a character eventually and I'm excited about what could develop from there. I guess people are going by character they like/dislike, but such polls are inevitably a popularity contest. Still, I am also looking forward to Dan's storyline, but I also recently noticed how difficult his storyline would be to implement, since it's optional but would affect Sam so much. The psychic storyline is also no wonder, since many people seem to regard it as the main story. Also, since it's involves Ayewn, the popular male character clause is satisfied (not that I'm complaining). Cole also is no surprise, but I didn't vote for it since it is made so obvious what happened, so my excitement for that particular storyline is stifled. While Cole's shower scenes will likely give opportunity to get that story rolling, I think focusing on it too much would be bad, people clearly just want more Cole content. Though I guess with Ashtaroth' story done for now there may a vacancy that Bailey might fill? The Underground at least seems to do better than the Corps attached to it. I guess it might need more popular characters attached to it. Or rather, guys. Lenore is one of the most popular women, but in comparison HanZi seems to be the least popular guy. Though I wonder if it would do better if you explicitly said that it involves Grokbok (I suspect at least). Still, I think that introducing new characters, as long as they fill their own niches would be a good idea here. I fully agree that Shifter and H&H are in a good place to leave for now. While I am curious about the Shifter, I think it best to wait until more time has passed in the story, since in game it hasn't been a week. Best to save it for when it has impact. The demons should also be given time to adjust to their new lives. The only one that I feel has any urgency to address storywise is Ashmodai, but that should probably be as part of an eventual Righteous Path storyline. Gilly's placement is where I would place her as well. I don't hate her, but I find her unappealing if not outright offputting. I also noticed how she has a few similarities with Morgana. I guess people don't like cyberstalkers. Point is, I think she would be best served if you could roll her into the bigger Dr.Lazarus/robot storyline. A last point about the poll would be that I think people voted for more content of characters they like. Additionally I think that some arcs do worse from people not knowing for what content they are signing up for. Maybe in the future it would be more helpful if you made it more clear what characters and what content are behind what.

2024-06-18 20:58:44 +0000 UTCOof, I'm really interested in a lot of these storylines, it's kind of hard to pick (so I appreciate the multiple options!) I definitely want to see the Dan storyline continue, but the Psi stuff is also very intriguing. I also personally really like the Underground storyline, I think it has a lot of storytelling potential (will other cadets join? are there going to be double agents? is the MC himself going to become the double agent? will MC's involvement affect how the main plot develops? etc. etc.). I like the shifter/heaven and pandemonium storylines, but I feel like they have reached a pretty good place for now as far as development goes, and other stories could take the centre for now. Cole's story could be interesting to see, especially if Bailey will be reintroduced in some way, though I wonder how that would come up at this stage. I feel like it would be a bit too soon to confront the space pirates in person, so maybe it will be like an extended flashback sequence that shows what happened to Cole? I'm a bit surprised that Gilly has so few votes, tbh. I think this story has a lot of potential, too. I guess it could be a bit too early still to have the MC find out about her? But I think she could also be an interesting ally(?) for the MC during training, manipulating things or protecting him from behind the scenes and such. Morgana's baby is an interesting story. It's fun, it's an excuse to have pregnant content early on, and there is even a mystery of sorts there (how will the pregnancy develop? is the baby even real? it shouldn't be, but Morgana also shouldn't be lactating, so...). But I can see why it's not getting a lot of votes, since it mainly focuses on an M/F kink and the crazy stalker AI aspect of Morgana's character could be unappealing to some players (I personally find her pretty funny, though).

Polling helps show which ones players would liked prioritised… eg whether I fit the next Dan missions into Week 1, or make the next encounter with Kex a joint Portal-Psi storyline. I’m pleased to see my top 3 guesses of winners were correct (although surprised Morgana’s Baby is polling so low).
