January Update!
Added 2018-01-17 12:06:00 +0000 UTCHello everyone!
Thank you all for your awesome support! I just arrived home from Further Confusion 2018, and I saw many of you in person there! It was so wonderful to attend and have the opportunity to sell there. I sold out of the "forbidden fruit" fursuit props and the one I donated to the charity auction during FC Unleashed went for $120 to their charity, Silicon Valley Pet Project and The Dancing Cat!! Its been really great.
As I promised to many of you in person, the pattern and tutorial for working with clear vinyl for those props will be written soon! I made as many as I could stand to make, and don't plan to make any more. So I wish to free the techniques I learned to create them upon the world. Everything has been photographed, and the pattern for it has been made. I will be writing that up shortly, hopefully having it finished this week for early access to you folks!
In the mean time. I spent tonight editing a video on Machine Sewing Spots, I originally posted the video to the Tutoring chat at the beginning of Dec, but have now added an audio track explaining it, and edited it a bit for use on YouTube. I will post it online today or tomorrow, once it is finished rendering.
I'm feeling some urgency to produce more videos this month, as YouTube has changed the rules on being part of their monitization program (it is another form of income for me, which is appreciated, so I do not wish to lose it). I already made it a New Years Resolution to produce more video tutorials. And to back it up I bought Vegas Pro software to help! However this news on potentially being de-monitized is really motivating me to get as much content as I can out there this month to reach a goal of "2000" more view hours in their 30 day period they graced me with. Ahhh. :E
I'd love if you check out my collection of video tutorials this month, and maybe watch some a few extra times if you are willing, so I can get the watch hours up to keep getting revenue from Youtube ads. Once you watch them, as my patrons, I would love if you let me know what you would like to see improved or clarified about them. I don't plan to edit the old videos, but instead I think I would eventually like to replace them with new or revised versions. So I can expand on what I have learned in the time they have been available online.

I have two playlists that can be of possible interest, Fursuit Tutorials:

And cute videos of my doggy Turbo:

To put it in other words: I still meet all other criteria for earning on Youtube, except for their new "play hours" requirement at the moment. So really what it means is that people watching my tutorials don't play them over and over again (taught too well, I guess!!). But any time spent watching any of them again this month will help, so will passing the links of the playlists on to your friends interested in making fursuits (or those who just like cute dog videos)!!
The "play hours" requirement is for "4000" viewership hours during a 365 day period normally, so having a 30 day notice to get "2000" more of them is really a sudden crunch :( The consequences of not getting the "play hours" in the next 30 days is it means I am de-monitized and can no longer make any earnings via my YouTube videos until the point in which my "play hours" have been met, and then I need to endure a minimum 30 day grace period until I can re-monitize. It sounds complex, but I read through it a few times and this is how I have come to understand it.
Being able to provide videos to my supporters here is important, and I will do so anyways regardless if I meet this goal or not. But it is really a goal I am going to try very hard to reach if I can by producing as much content that people would enjoy watching as I can make. Thanks for your time and support. I appreciate it and hope that I have been able to help you make your fursuits over the years with these videos.
