Ooh is 1902 the opening of the first movie theater in Milwaukee? "But it wasn't until 1902 that the first actual motion picture theater came into being. Max Goldstein, a bricklayer by trade, saw the movies as a way to become his own boss. He leased a small storefront near Second Street and Wisconsin Avenue and filled it with rows of wooden benches. A piece of muslin tacked to the wall served as the screen. Admission was 5c for 30 minutes of silent films with music provided by a pianist." (from Milwaukee Movie Theaters by Larry Widen). I often go to Cinéma du Panthéon which opened in 1907 - hopefully it will stay open for many more years.

I literally haven't been this excited since the last post you had of Styrofoam tombstones. Very cool.
