I’m late to the game in responding, but this was a quality episode. The movies, the mojo, set, etc. were top notch. Last years left me wanting more, but this was everything I could have hoped for and more.

This guy would have never made it through Tulsa community college. What a buffoon!

So that might explain why the woman gathering wood is skipping through the forest. It seems like something that would be in a fairy tale. As for the rest of it… sorry, you're on your own.

I found a beautiful special edition bluray at Vinegar Syndrome with subtitles and english dubbing. I bought it and send it to them back in march and I couldn't be happier seeing them having so much fun on halloween 🥹🥹🥹 and it's my birthday on the 29th ^^ I'm sure you guys can understand my silly happiness 😅

2024-10-26 23:45:07 +0000 UTCIn one of the clips of Devil Story, you can briefly here the Grandpa call the horse something like "Devil Horse". In the original audio, that's how he keeps calling it. I'm sure everything makes much more sense, now. Regarding the location, Devil Story was shot in Normandy, and the story is set there. Most licence plates are French, that one from Florida is more a case of "they had access to" and "adds production value", in my opinion. For something a bit more structured, I'd recommend Zombie Lake. It's got quite the reputation, and for good reasons.

Devil Story or ‘Once Upon A Time The Devil’ in its French version is something of a classic (if niche) bad movie in France. Beloved and digitised from 35mm film by the so-bad-its-good movie reference: Nanarland. Looks like you watched the VHS but if you have the 2021 Blu-Ray by Vinegar Syndrome lying around, know that the bonus features are great !
