thanks to clips studio paint's timelapse option, and my infinite patience with the way it slows down my computer, i recorded the lineart for a recent expression exercise! forgive the awkward cropping, i'm still learning :9
and don't mind the two random characters, they're just observing my process in horror (rude)
you will notice that if i start with an extreme gesture it does get whittled down as i clean up, so i've been trying to start even crazier because i want my art to be expressive. but this one isn't so bad! i'm quite proud of all these faces. except the bottom right polnareff, he turned out a lil too realistic and not as fun. so after a good night's sleep i changed it to be a bit more lighthearted in the finished thing, and i feel like that was a good call
