This is in 1862 shortly after The Argument. Forneus visits Lucidrien a few days after because the angel has started giving the entire population of London nightmares during his depression nap. Forneus had said that he thought Lucidrien's love confessions throughout the millennia were jokes and Lucidrien yells at him again for being stupid right after he wakes up hehe. They do talk it out afterwards. Also no time-accurate outfits because I wasn't really in the mood for looking something up. Next time though! Can you imagine Forneus with muttonchops??? Gosh. In German we have a term called Häufchen Elend that we use to describe someone who's upset or hurt. It's meant to sound endearing and I didn't find a good English version so I translated it word for word. I think it sounds cute! Let me know if you know a nicer term though💕
