Reworked Prequels (Patreon Exclusive)
Added 2025-07-20 12:16:06 +0000 UTCNow there have been a million attempts to rewrite the Prequels, some more successful than others. For some fun, I’d like to propose my version. It’s far from perfect – I don’t want to pretend this is a work of genius, or even necessarily better than what we got! I do like some of the ideas this new version gets to explore, like greater division within the Jedi, Palpatine as a Caesar-like figure, and shifting focus away from Anakin’s relationship with the “Jedi” and instead how his ambition & ego leads him to abandon morality and destroy himself. On the other hand I wish I could’ve spent more time with the Jedi Order, which is a bit less explored here. I also think the whole “war” aspect of this isn’t explored fully, but what can you do....

Forgot to comment this on the yt vid but a sequel video would be amazing, it’s hard to digest what the hell the First Order even really is, and why the Resistance is portrayed as a rebel force when in reality they are essentially just the New Republic. Also the parallels that can be drawn between the First Order and IRL Neo-Nazism could be interesting.
