ARM gun modification
Added 2025-03-02 12:58:52 +0000 UTCI saw some comments complaining that the ARM seemed too overpowered in the 17 scenes I uploaded earlier, so I modified the gun's appearance accordingly. The idea is that it's not a standard ARM but a customized firearm with enhanced firepower. Additionally, I plan to include a scene where an NCR Ranger crafts special ammunition to further increase its power. This will emphasize that they are specialized power armor hunters, distinct from regular Rangers, making the concept more convincing.

I imagine a normal AMR can get through PA like the T-45, 51 and 60 without issues however if the Brotherhood had any enclave rated armor than these would be needed.

A .50 is more than enough lore wise to open that thing up. Those people can get off your nuts, in this humble feller's opinion.

2025-03-16 14:32:47 +0000 UTCForgive me, but as someone who's really familiar with the weapon models as I've ported a lot of them to source myself, this looks silly and it's not necessary. The way 50 bmg tears through power armor is accurate to what that rifle would do. These modifications look like parts of the fallout 4 laser charge barrel randomly clipped in to it and detracts from what is already a perfect design... it looks silly. An ammo crafting scene wouldn't be too bad, but why would they craft ammo on the field instead of having it all prepared? I feel time could be better spent elsewhere because standard 50 BMG could easily do that to power armor. Still, I mind the ammo crafting much less than these silly AMR modifications. Please don't make the AMR look like this.

Can't wait for the finished product. Also it will suck if Lucius dies but like I said before he's probably going to make sure they get to hidden valley

2025-03-03 17:49:47 +0000 UTCI agree with the others in that this seems unnecessary. I think you had it nailed perfectly earlier. Folks saying that an Anti-Material Rifle is overpowered because it pierces metal material like its supposed to might be a bit BOS biased.

2025-03-03 12:10:01 +0000 UTC주로 문제가 되는 부분이 대물 저격총이 파워아머와 보병 3명을 한꺼번에 관통할 만큼 강하다면 왜 이전에는 팔라딘들의 머리와 다리 관절 같은 약한 부위만 노렸는지 납득이 안 된다는 점 같은데 솔직히 대물 저격총이 왜 그렇게 강하게 연출되었는지에 대해 구구절절 설명하기보다 시청자들의 상상에 맡기는 편이 나을 것 같네요. 혹은 철갑탄이 팔라딘의 머리를 터뜨리며 쓰러뜨리고, 그 직후 조금 다른 방향에서 날아온 폭발탄이 터지면서 남은 보병들을 처리하는 식으로 연출을 바꾸는 것도 괜찮을 것 같네요.

I know the originals are directly from the versions taken from New Vegas, but these feel a touch more fallout without being ridiculous and it’s pretty neat imo. I can’t wait to see them in the full thing!

But as per them having a scene crafting bullets only privy with their experience and knowledge is really good! I know you know you cant please everybody, but i admire how you listen and add content favorable to the lore.

A good call to change the AMRs, if not to make a compromise, then to instill how specialized the Vet. Rangers are. While I prefer the AMRs as is, what you have now still makes sense. I think the guys who are ticked that no NCR lives were lost in Sunburst 17 are forgetting the troopers killed especially after the Sentry Prototypes came online. The odds were very much in their favor - unlike when they were raiding the bunkers in California - but the Army probably lost up to 100 men at this point, most likely fatalities and they haven’t even taken the facility yet. The BoS, probably half that, but this was a battle known for the destruction of half of the chapter; as in half were killed. I know the BoS is gonna get another moment of heroism following their withdrawal from Helios anyways. You’re absolutely on the right track, SODAZ.

This distance also explains why the NCR and Brotherhood of Steel soldiers used as bait relied on suppressive fire rather than aiming directly at each other.
