Virtual Bench Press - Unisex (FREE / SUPERCHARGED for paying subscribers)

The bench press exercise is a movement that primarily involves the pectoral muscles, but also works the anterior deltoids and triceps. It is performed using a barbell, loaded with weights, and then lifted from a supine position to full arm extension above the chest.

The exercise begins by lying on a flat bench with the feet planted on the ground and the barbell within reach. Then, the barbell is firmly grasped slightly wider than shoulder width, with palms facing outward. Keeping the feet firmly planted on the ground, the barbell is pushed upwards until the arms are fully extended. The control of the barbell is maintained while slowly lowering it a few inches above the chest, with elbows slightly bent. The movement can be repeated for the desired number of repetitions.
