Heyy , just wanted to share that when im a Vampire-Siphoner Hybrid the UI kinda breaks and shows either Vamp default UI preset or the Witch Preset with it showing but the normal bars dont show thirst or vamp energy , even when hiding the alignment UI it doesnt show a balanced UI for both mixed occults :))

Hi! I love your mod so much! I have a little issue and it's been happening since I first got the fairy pack and the issue is my sim, who is a fairy, does not have her magical force anymore in the needs panel. She has her alignment but she no longer has her custom magical force you created, nor does she have the emotional force the game provides. Can you help me with that and maybe give some advice as to why that may be.

Wow, these are great ideas! Love the coven idea, casting Mass Spells with a coven would be great! For example, one of them could be a "Ritual of Restoration" which would be similar to the Sims 3 spell of a similar name. This short ritual automatically cleans an entire lot of all trash/spills/dirty appliances, fixes all broken objects and gives a "Fresh and Clean" moodlet to everyone on the lot. The reagents for the ritual could be a cup of water, salt, and sage. It's meant to be a starter/easy ritual for young covens.

Hey, just wondering if your thinking of ongoing updates for this exact mod pack , First this mod is amazing work , especially how plain they made spellcasters in SIMS , just wondering if there will be more abilities , mainly thinking with the altar or coven abilities ( Casting Mass Spells with the Coven ) or possibly Convergance Magic , Spirit , Connective and maybe a Power Source like the one i listed :)) or maybe Bloodlines or Will ( Meaning ur power source is your will ) , i have HEAPS of ideas as this is my favourite mod of all time , Appreciate your hard work!!!!

Hello, Your mods look excellent, I'd love to use them in my Sims game. Unfortunately, I don't understand English very well. Would it be possible to have your mods translated into several different languages, including French ? I think that would be more practical and understandable for non-English speaking players like myself. Thank you very much, and once again, your mods are fantastic !

I’m currently looking into fixing this. Thankfully, it seems to only be an issue with grabbing the display name for ingredients, so nothing to worry too much about, but the Altar Configuration section of the spellbook will be blank until I’m able to update it.

I think something is wrong with the siphoner witches because whenever I try to turn them into one, they can't cast spells or whenever I try to siphon an object or a witch the magic doesn't refill up their own magic. I think it's a bug but just wanted to let you know.

I have a suggestion! Tl;dr: Spell to transform people into sims 4 werewolves and Everdew fairies. Spells special to each power source First, thank you so SO much for this mod! It is hands down my favorite mod, and the only thing that makes the Sims 4 worth playing for me. My first suggestion: now that you've made the distinction between Everdew Fairies and Sylvan Fae, Lupus (Lupi? Lupuses?) and werewolves, can we get spells to change Sims into werewolves and Everdew fairies? I know we have Lupus Transitus, Sangium Vitae, and Aqua mutatio for lupus, vampires and mermaids but we do not have a spell for everdew fairies or sims 4 werewolves. My second suggestion: with the different power sources, maybe there could be spells specific to each power source that is only accessible to those who have that power source? These spells could be a mixture of spells that already exist in game and spells that do not. For example, for those who have a water power source, maybe they can gain access to some of the mermaid powers in the form of spells (Summon ocean threat, clear skies, call rainstorm/thunderstorm). For a new spell, maybe they can gain a spell that will kill sims via dehydration (death by dehydration). Sims with a nature power source can get access to the druidic powers that plantsims get from your expanded plantsims mod (florakinesis, floral photosynthesis, Spriggan form). For a new spell they can gain a spell called "Nature's wrath" that summons thorny vines that attacks sims and buries them alive. If they survive they get a moodlet "Thorn in my side" that makes them afraid of plants for a few days (making them unable to garden), or it could make them uncomfortable for a few days. If they do not survive, it could be a new death type ("death by nature" or "buried alive"). These are just a few of my ideas for each power source, I have a a lot more exciting ones in mind (like a fabrication spell for those with a electrical/technology/machine power source, an illusion spell that makes your sim look like any sim they've met for those with an Illusion power source, or a "Sunburn" spell for those with a Sun/light power source that could kill vampires or even regular sims if done repeatedly (extreme sunburn moodlet).

Hey lovely, First of all, I want to say that you are one of my top fave creators when it comes to mods, Fairies vs. Witches has become my staple in my lore and storytelling, I love writing and I use the Sims for inspiration, and since a few of my sims are witches and a few are fairies, it's literally a big part of my game play! I also wanted to add that I've tested all my mods and stuff, and both BE and MCCC are saying that the fairies vs. witches ts4.script is why I can't load into my household. I've tested out all my mods and even left it to just fairies vs. witches and it seems to be the cause :( any advice on what to do and how to fix this? So sorry!

Unicorns unfortunately don’t have the ability to store objects in their inventory, which is a major part of how the mod functions and adds wings to the sim. If you watch the walkthrough video on my youtube channel, I explain how you’re supposed to add the wings to horses and the reason for it. :)

I tried to add animated wings demon to my unicorn, but when I add them they show up under the unicorn...then when the unicorn moves the wings still stay on the ground away from the unicorn :(

I just installed the Fairies vs Witches mod, but I can't seem to find the option to edit the fairy Magical Outfit. Is it just me being stupid, or have something gone wrong since the update?

Im having some trouble with accessing the fairy side of the mod, i can choose to meditate fine, but only receive the option to view the giving fairy. Ive tried disabling all other mods ect (apart from realm of magic) and still the same, any help ?

NVM I think I figured it out. Looks like better exceptions is actually causing exceptions. After I took it out my game started to work again.

I am having issues with all of your mods now that I updated. :( Ive removed them all. I updated all of them and still it takes me right back to the choice screen for places to live. I knew I should not have updated. I dont want to play without your mods. :( Im so frustrated. WTF did EA do, they broke everything

After getting Enchanted by Nature, all of the Sylvan Fae have black boxes around their wings, my game and mod are updated. I do not have a laptop. How should this be remedied?

As far as I’ve been able to tell, yes. I test all my mods on three separate systems of varying quality (a laptop, an all-in-one, and a high-end system) and everything seems to be functioning.

Do you still have the version of the mod from 8/11? I haven't updated my game since the version before the patch that effed up all the script mods. Will this current version of the mod work with the game version I have?

If you’re getting reports from Better Exceptions that list this mod as the cause, it is because you have another mod that is out-of-date in your game and BE is incorrectly flagging one of my mods. I’m not sure why this is happening, but my mods are compatible with the current patch and should not be sending you back to the main menu.

Hi, I've recently run into issues with this mod. I get a bad script exception error when having this mod and werewolves in my game. I'm not sure why, since they have been updated for the newest patch. Also, thank you for the effort you put into these mods. I really enjoy them!!

Hello! I have a question about Everdew/Sylvan hybrids. So far, it's been working flawlessly, especially the part where I can link her Sylvan Magic to her Fairy form But I noticed her Emotional Force never goes down when using spells. She mainly uses the Cleanse and the Invisique spell, but each time the Emotional Force need stays untouched. Why's that?

Weird question ... how possible/playable are Sylvan Fae/Spellcaster and Witch/Spellcaster combos? (Either Sylvan Fae or Witches with just Spellcasters, I'm not stacking occults like Jenga as you said!) Would I need another mod like the Hybrid Occult stabilizer? I ask because the blog post is contradictory - in one part, the post says that these types of hybrids are possible, but in the FAQ, the post says not to try them. I'm guessing the FAQ is from an earlier version of the mod, but I figured I'd ask before borking my save. And thank you so much for this mod, by the way. I'm utterly enchanted by the lore and the possibilities it offers for occult gameplay.

So, hi. I wanted to report a rather annoying bug, and thought patreon would be the better place to do so. I was having an issue with some permanently repeating audio, some sort of sad tingle or failure sound I never heard before. You can listen to it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/thesims4/comments/1gifd4r/what_is_this_sound_effect/ The sound seem to be bound to residential lots with at least one (female?) spellcaster (not one of your witches) living on. It plays in live mode, with 6-7 seconds between each repeat. Over the last year I was narrowing this issue down to spellcasters, female spellcasters to be precise, and today I wanted to update this mod and deleted the old files but forgot to put the new version in, and guess what... the sound stopped. I really don't know if it is a sound from your mod, or if your mod triggers this sound to be played for some reason, or if there is some entanglement with one of the other five billion mods I use, but apparently, deleting Fairies vs. Witches makes it stop. So, yeah, maybe you could look into this?

I can’t imagine why the mod would be causing something like that, as there’s nothing in the files that would affect the fairy form in that way. It’s mostly referenced with tests, which wouldn’t alter it at all.

If the Alignment motive is overriding Emotional Force, you can choose to hide the alignment motive in your sim’s fairy pie menu. This will restrict alignment to just the buffs and prevent it from messing with the motive panel.

How do hybrids work? I had my Sim start off as a Everdew Fairy and then later become a Sylvan Fae at the same time, but now the Fae menu is overlapping my Needs menu, so I can't see when my Sim starts starving from low Emotional Force

Hi so luv the mod and I ’m not completely sure if it’s this mod causing the issue. but I downloaded it and tried to make a fea/everdew hybrid but when In or out of CAS my sims lose the EA fairy life state. So they lose the Everdew fairy form but all the abilities seem to be unaffected.

That sounds like a game bug, rather than an issue with the mod. The wings in the mod are a CAS item that doesn’t affect EA’s wings and neither should disabling them. Removing the mod would certainly fix any issue that might have been caused, but there’s no reason why it would prevent EA’s wings from showing up.

hello, i downloaded your mod to add more things for my ingame fairy, i disables your wing to not have the outline an wanted to use ea wing, but i later removed the mod because it was causing lag to my game now none of my ea wings will work they show up in cas an in the ui picture but not on my sim, i even redownloded the mod an enable your wings an then removed it and still nothing, i tried a new save an still no wings will show up in game, is there a way to fix this?

if you go on their Twitter he has updates on the development for the update that integrates EA fairies. It sounds like half the changes are almost done so shouldn’t be too much longer. It terms of “how” he hasn’t explained quite yet, we’ll know more when the update drops or if there’s a YouTube walkthrough.

Question : I love your mod, in fact, I was using it way before EA announced fairies! How does the mod integrate with EbN now? Can you be a fairy AND a fairy from your mod? Does it affect anything that shouldn't work? How does it work, exactly?

Hi this is my first time commenting and i hope this reaches you. First i want to say your mod is so much better than what we got in the expansion. and they stole so much from you for sure. That being said, there are two issues I've been having that i hope you can clear up for me. (1). when i open the Fairy handbook and unlock a spell. the page turns to the Magicians spell book and i have to go through the process of navigating to the fairy spell book again and again for each unlocked spell (2). Since the new patch, yes it works with the new Fairy race, however, the need panel graphics become convoluted and the emotional energy gauge bar cannot be seen. Would you mind trying to remove the “invisibleeffectobject” package to see if that resolves it? There was an infinite loading screen issue in the Expanded Plantsims mod and a similar package was the cause, so I’d like to rule that out if possible.

I can’t exactly explain why or how, but part of this mod triggered the infinite loading when building on rental lots. I removed everything except the CAS items and Objects, so whatever is in this mod’s script or package files triggered something. A save that I thought was corrupted worked normal after I removed them. Honestly though, not exactly surprised by the weirdness considering the new pack released EA fairies. I just thought I would say this since I didn’t have to remove everything in the mod to get the loading to work like normal. I figured this mod would eventually get an update so I’m not too worried or was in a huge hurry to see a rushed update.

Hello there, I watched your video and saw that you are planning on incooperating your mod with the pack! I saw someone commented that they wished for the EA fairies to have the toilet need and hunger, and I think the same. I think the emotional force should be like the magic force in the Spellcaster pack, I don't get why fairies only feed off emotions, it literally has nothing to do with their lore. Also, I love gardening and with EA fairies, there is literally no need to garden because they have no need for food, so that just falls flat... So I'm wondering do you think it might be possible to add the toilet and hunger need back to the EA fairies? Also, thank you for all the great work you are doing, I think EA should have consulted you in making the pack, it would have been a lot better!

Personally I think the fairy should simply replace the normal fairies, it's not really a skill to be a fairy, it's a species so I think it fits better that way. Witches and spellcasters are things they learn, but a fairy just is, so it does feel unfitting to split them into two.

Hi!! I just want to say how much i appreciate all your awesome mods and have been enjoying them for years! i do have a quick question though, if that's okay. I was just wondering if, now that there are fairies in game, are you going to switch the needs chart to match the fairies or keep them spellcasters? (I was a fairy in game and tried to be a fairy for the mod, but it made it so you can't see the emotional feed bar- ) It makes sense for them to remain spellcasters due to the magic advancement aspect and that also sounds super complicated to try and do to a mod that is already finished, i just figured i should ask cause i think it would be cool to be a fairy base game and fairy mod - sorry for the long paragraph, thank you!

I'm a big fan of all your mods! I was wondering if it might be possible to make the witch-exclusive spells available to spellcasters from RoM. I'd love to use those spells with my regular spellcasters too, without having to turn them into witches. Would that be something you'd consider? 🤔🤗

Since the pack only just released, it’s going to take some time to update everything and figure out how to make them work together. Occults with special motive panels always conflict, so I’ll need to come up with a solution for this. Until then, you may have to avoid fairy hybrids if the needs panel is too distracting or dysfunctional.
