The Almost There Update

A lot has been happening in the background, thank you for your patience during this time! I've polished the garden to something that looks somewhat acceptable, I'm pretty proud of it right now! Each object like rocks, plants, bushes, and even trees are selectable and you'll be able to remove them with a shovel to help customize your garden fully.

I've also added another mini-game, this one is a clone of a game called suika or watermelon game. The idea is to combine objects, in this case coins without hitting the top line. the more you combine, the more points you get. If two pennies touch, they turn into the next higher currency, a nickle then to a dime, going up to dollars and into the thousands of dollars. But the higher the coin is in value, the larger the physical coin becomes, making it harder to stay under that line. I'm also experimenting with different level types instead of just this rectangle but they will be for a later update.

Speaking of experimenting, I've also been trying to figure out what the trailer for this game should be and I've come to this claymation type style. My idea here is to recreate an old pokemon commercial for the gameboy but instead of a gameboy and bus driver, we'll be using a phone and the knight instead. After the short animation there will be clips of gameplay showing off what the game is about.

I'm not sure if everything will be 100% ready by the end of February but I've decided try my best to at least complete everything into a playable state, and release this month regardless. We can then work out the kinks in following updates as the game will be in early access anyway. No more waiting!
