Sorry for the wait, I've been changing things up with the direct a bit.
The initial plan was for the video to be an apple like product showcase for the new things in kobold garden. While it will still showcase these things as is the purpose of the direct, it's changed to present things in a more movie like way with a non-serious plot line. While I think the apple video would have been neat way to show off things, I feel it's best to take this opportunity to practice on seeing if I can even pull off making a simple storyline.
Chao Garden in the Sonic games are a very odd place. It's never really established what the chao gardens or even the chao are in game. I don't want the same issue with the knight just popping into the garden lobby one day, so I've been planning for Kobold Garden to have a very loose storyline. Just how the knight gets to the gardens and what the knight and kobolds do throughout the game. This story will be featured in rendered cutscenes so I want to use this direct as practice for what you can expect those to be like.
The new direct will be extremely silly, maybe a bit too silly as it culminates into an anime like battle between the old kobold models and new version 3 model. It also takes scenes from other movies and franchises to help with the story so I don't take forever on the video but will feature some original segments.
I expect the direct to be completely done before Christmas at the most but will most likely be done the week before if things go well, I'll post pics of scenes and what's up throughout.
After the direct the plans to bring focus back on the game. I hope to have a few directs as the game progresses but they won't be a monthly thing and will most likely be much more simplified than this first one, so the game takes priority.
