Amidst this sandy wasteland there is one thing revered above all else, one thing that makes cities rise and civilisations fall, water.
Whilst many of the worshippers have only heard rumours of this deity’s homeland, surrounded by ‘the big water’, and all have long forgotten his true name, what holds true is the boundless stream of life giving fluid that flows forth with every prayer whispered from the cracked, dry lips of the devoted.
Woe betide any who earn the ire of the powers that be though, the nearest alternative water source is a 5 day march from here.
