Today we have some spooky news about 58 update! Enchant with the magic!
The upcoming update brings magical enchanting table, sturdy smithing table and other functional stuff.
Firstly, the upcoming update brings new blocks such as the enchanting table and the smithing table as those are one of the few blocks in the functional category that won the latest community vote poll.
Another addition is suspicious sand and suspicious gravel blocks with all the state variants, so finding those precious blocks won't be that easy anymore. After some testing we thing it's balanced enough to make them pop out from the generic block, but also not that obvious to make it very easy.
The last new block in the upcoming update is a note block.
Other than new blocks, piston and sticky piston blocks got texture tweaks so they will better react to different lighting conditions.
The last feature of the update is that we managed to make Additions Optifine resource pack work on Iris too, so from now on we won't be updating those packs anymore as all the features will be present in the main resource pack so you will be able to enjoy better bushy models without need to install multiple packs. However the Glass remover resource pack stays the same for those who want to replace metal beam texture with the pure glass.
