Order of the Phoenix is easily the most divisive installment in the series. A lot of people love it, a lot of people hate it. Personally itβs my favorite of the books. I love the political themes and the complexity they add to the story. Itβs unique in that it focuses on power struggles, propaganda, and psychology. I like seeing Harryβs progression from anger/hurt to compassion and connection. Youβre totally right that it spends a lot of time setting up the rest of the series. Itβs a necessary bridge imo but itβs understandable that itβs not everyoneβs cup of tea. The book is an 800 page monster, and I think they did an impressive job condensing the story into an overall good movie. I do however think the plot works better as a book. I like the atmosphere and music, we get a lot of great performances too, but it doesnβt have the heart that the book has. Itβs not my favorite compared to 1, 3 or 4, but itβs still an enjoyable watch. Anyway, thanks for the fun reaction! Iβm gonna watch your Half Blood prince reaction later and Iβm very much looking forward to it.
