Longleg's backstory that Nic Cage and the director Ozgood Perkins talk about is that Longlegs is like this washed up failed glam rockstar that's had a ton of botched plastic surgery. He loves to sing and wears white makeup and clothing as an affront to God (white is supposed to be pure). I love this one so much, I wasn't sure on first watch but I've watched multiple times since and love it more and more each time. I watched it 3 times in the first week I had access to it.
