I know Shane isn't a great guy but the hotel did make a mistake. And instead of trying to make up for it, Armand is intentionally trying to ruin Shane's honeymoon experience again and again. I have to take Shane's side on that issue. But yes, he should be a better husband to Rachel.

2025-06-24 04:14:44 +0000 UTCentering someone’s life, you’re getting the part of them they’re showing to you. the part they WANT to show you to impress you, and make a good impression on the person they’re pursuing. now that the person is finally pursued, their true colors start to show. a lot of people like to automatically think that the person an individual meets, is that persons “true” self, when all you’re getting initially is a show; the pilot. as the episodes and seasons unravel, you begin to get the gist of the series and see what the series is truly about. shanes just getting comfortable, not to mention that they JUST got married.

There are plenty of stories about how rich men will do everything they can to get a woman to like them. This one guy's dad owned an airline, and he got his dad to get him a ticket beside this girl for a cross-country flight. There was this other story about how this man constantly pursued this woman by showing up to her job every single day until she agreed to go out with him. Men love-bomb women all the time and make them feel special, and then the other side to them comes out. That's how manipulators work. Ultimately Shane being a douchebag isn't just on Rachel. Of course, Rachel is an adult, but each time Shane is rude, I notice y'all kind of put it on her and question why she likes him. There is clearly unbalanced power in their relationship, and his mom being there further highlights this because it's not just Shane.
