Around the time season 3 came out is when I first started watching the series, binging S1 & S2. I loooove Jennifer Coolidge in this show. It's wasn't Fast And The Furious, but Steve Zahn was in a pretty good 2001 car related movie with Paul Walker called Joy Ride.

2025-06-01 23:28:09 +0000 UTCOh naurrrr... Corey get well soon! I stopped what I was doing to watch this because it's one of my favorite shows ever. He's my long ass comment. The creator/director/writer is Mike White who wrote a lot of comedy and family movies like School of Rock, Despicable Me 4, and Pitch Perfect 3. He was also on the competition show Survivor and knowing that, so much of the show makes sense. It has a reality TV vibe to it which I like. This show was 15 years in the making and the show happened to get greenlit during Covid because HBO remembered that he came to them with the idea some years before and needed programming. The murder aspect of the show is like a little add on but the strength of the show are the complex relationships, uncomfortable but realistic scenarios, and character development. It's a murder mystery to an extent but not in a traditional sense. IDK if you noticed but Armond the manager is Murray Bartlett, he was Frank on The Last of Us.
