I didn't want to highlight this earlier as it would have been a spoiler. But back in season 1 Ulrich asks Charlotte "Do you ever feel like you took a wrong turn I life?" Which foreshadowed Ulrich literally taking the wrong turn going down the left hand tunnel to 1953 instead of the right hand one to 1986, where he would have found Mikkel. Also another cool detail. Young Ulrich has "No Future" on the back of his jacket, in his bedroom wall and he graffitis it outside the Power Plant. Ulrich is the man with "no future" being that he gets trapped in 1953 and lives the next 33 years in the asylum 🙁
