I really hate that they broke up after all they been through, after her telling him that it was always going to be him. I just can't see how Damon is the better choice.

Poor Chris though i agree with Tyler here and totally understand where he is coming from, also i wonder how Caroline judges Damon for doing bad stuff and this and that but here she was OK for Chris to get killed like ok i dont get it, I lovee Caroline so much but sometimes she just judges alot when she herself is no saint but yeah just my 2 cents on this..

It’s not an implication, it’s what actually happens in this episode. They break up because she does not feel that way for him anymore.

I love that he always tells her the truth no matter what. I love how their relationship is built on that trust.

2025-02-25 00:20:00 +0000 UTCShe will always have love for stefan but her feelings for damon are more intense and stronger.She tried so hard to be that human girl on that bridge but once she became a vampire she matured, as well as her emotions for damon was heightened. She tried to fight her feelings for damon for so long until she couldn’t deny it anymore. Even since her transition, Damon’s been there to help her through it when she needed it the most. She’s basically in love with damon and that her feelings are lessened for Stefan now. She still cares for him just not in a romantic way anymore.

Their bond is so deep and it shows. It’s very poetic that he saved her on the bridge, unlike the last time. He will always be there to save her no matter what.
