2025-02-25 12:33:20 +0000 UTCYep, that was a tiara. A crown goes all the way around the head and a tiara is more like a semi circle. As a side note, both men and women can wear crowns, but pretty much only women wear tiaras.

For example, Princess Charlotte, Queen Charlotte's granddaughter, died in 1817, but in the show she dies in 1814. The timeline had to be adapted for the show for... reasons. There are more creative liberties, but they work very well for the show.

She went from being his little princess sister to the Queen of England, which at the time meant way more than just "wife of the King" like we think of it in modern times.

As in the TV show writers saying “we’re writing about real people but taking serious artistic liberties so don’t take this as real history.” So excited you guys began this journey! The casting is phenomenal right off the bat and the chemistry between George and Charlotte is so incredible right from that garden wall scene. I’m glad you’re jumping right into it. To clarify, everything “modern day” happens after the events of Bridgerton season 2 and before season 3. You were trying to jump back to a mid-point based on a passing mention of a different death, but the BCU chronology in “current day” is married to the airdate order. I think that makes things a lot easier because then only the parts with different actors are actual flashbacks compared to continuing Bridgerton events.
