I'm gonna have to investigate this 70's Popcorn song. I have a feeling that I'll like it if I haven't already heard it. And if I have heard it, then it must have connected the dots through my subconscious and taken control of my mind for a bit. Either way, thank you for the info!

Everyone, including Chesh, please forgive this next little bit: in 1972, there was an instrumental song called Popcorn that was a three minute wonder. The instrument/sustain/attack on the melody line, the “bounciness” to it, of this reminds my old girl of the melody line of Popcorn.
