Most times this results in complete disconnection from their power, but in Song’s case his kicked back online and they are very difficult to control and usually only manifest in situations of extreme mental distress.

Love the intensity of this, there's a lot to unpack after Song has been away for so long. If he had been around for Koyla as a tot, I get the feeling it would have been good for Song to focus his magic energy into something positive

Now I can understand why that want Koyla to learn. I hope there are ways for Song to develop his magic so it’s less unpredictable for him. Raine’s statement made it sound like he’s kind of regressed.
