How important is it to you that the MC can be custom-named?

The reason for the REGRET image is that my choice to allow players to custom-name the MC is my only development regret. When I started I never thought I'd fully VOICE the game. Now, when I come to a dialogue line that includes the MC's player-customized name, I can't use it in VOICE because of course there's no way to do that, so I have to substitute "Boy" or "Cutie" or "Sexy" or a throwaway pet name like that. Even if it turns out that the vast majority of players don't want/need to custom-name the MC though, I'm not sure I'd ever change anything as a result because I'd have to then go back through two releases and change dialogue lines (no problem) and voice files (BIG problem). But just curious...
