COMIC UPDATE, 7/2/25

KINDRED HEAVENS
let's start off with some words from Scott...
Happy July lads! Some updates for you here at the halfway point of the year. KH4 is still rolling on schedule! It actually took me a while to find my footing in June getting back into the series, but I've hit my stride again.

Part of that was deciding to update the art style to match my more recent work. This of course will make it a bit different from the rest of the series, but, I think it's more important that I still enjoy working on the series artistically and not hold myself back just to match what I had previously done. Style drift is just a part of a long running comic and I think it tells an interesting story about the artist rather than detracting from the experience.
So what is the biggest visual difference? The linework. Some of you have noticed I've been drawing with no or very little line weight, it gives the images a cleaner more polished look while being a bit more stylized. I can understand maybe some people wouldn't like it, but I do! I'll attach a before and after. Some people have told me its not a huge difference, but, to me it's a pretty dramatic shift.

here are some other sneak peaks!

As for the side yuri comic I mentioned in the last update, things are progressing slowly, which was the plan. Though I have considered adding some kind of structure so progress is consistent. But, then it seems it would defeat the point of it being a side project... ah, time management is hard! Anyways, here's some preview artwork for that as well.

STICKERS
Hey y'all, Bryce here.
As many of you know, a few weeks ago we launched our very own stickers on our website. I'll be honest, going into this launch, I was very nervous. This was the first merch-project like this that Scott and I had ever produced fully in house, and I took full-charge on it. From printing, to cutting, to shipping, to managing the website, I was terrified something was going to go awry.
And sometimes, it did...

...but mostly, it was an incredible experience, and though it was a lot of work, I'm immensely proud of it all :)

I'd like to thank everyone for the immense amount of support we received during this launch. It went wilder than I ever could have expected and that is because, as I always say, we have the greatest fans in the world.
We both look forward to bringing you more and more sticker drops in the future, and hopefully before too long, prints! Honestly, I'd like to continually try and make more and more merch in-house! It's fun, and I do enjoy it. It's a whole new skill to learn :)
For now, I'd just like to say THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

And that's it for this month! We'll be soon with more updates. As always, thank you to everyone who supports us.
