I won't write such long posts anymore!

Good day! I've been reading quite a lot of short manga lately, so there're six titles to tell you about! A little bit about everything.

Harukaze no Snegurochka is the first manga by Hiroaki Samura that I've read. It interested me first of all with its art and the fact this is a seinen, I love seinen manga!

Honestly, it was not very interesting at first, and I read this manga mostly because of the style. However, the work captivated me pretty quickly and I read it all in one sitting.

Souin Gyokusai seyo! is the third manga by Shigeru Mizuki that I've read. The author himself participated in the war and wrote a manga about it, which is partly an autobiography.

The manga is filled with deaths, sometimes stupid and meaningless. I felt all the anger and hatred of the author for those events, and I share his feelings.

Saraiya Goyou is the work by Natsume Ono that I've been constantly postponing due to the number of volumes.

But this is an excellent work, which consists of everything for which I fell in love with the author's work. Unhurried narration, indescribable atmosphere, colorful characters and their natural and lively behavior, incredibly stylish drawing and intrigue that haunts the reader to the very end. I'll definitely return to this manga again, but in the form of an anime.

Scott Pilgrim's new edition seemed like a great reason to buy and read it!

And it was not for nothing I dreamed of buying and reading a comic for so many years, because in the end I really liked it. I was influenced a lot by O'Malley's love for Japan. I felt childishly delighted with the endless references to Japanese games and anime, it was damn good. If I were asked to describe Scott Pilgrim in one word, I'd use the word shounen.

Unlike the movie, it takes some time to Scott's past, which makes most of the characters seem even deeper and more interesting, including my wonderful Kim.

Honestly, I even wanted to visit Canada of that events' time and feel this incredible entourage. I'd love to read the rest of the author's comics!

I've always wondered why people love Aria so much, so not so long ago I read her prequel, Aqua, and then Aria.

Unfortunately, I didn't like Aria nearly as much as Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, but still find this manga worth reading. It's light, relaxing and filling with a feeling of happiness. Aria teaches me to appreciate the present and every happy moment, which I so often forget.

Who would have thought the legendary Junji Ito would want to write a comedy manga about his cats, Ito Junji no Neko Nikki: Yon & Mu!

Although I'm not a fan of cats, I nearly died laughing while reading. The author reliably conveyed the habits of cats and managed to convey the very feeling that you experience when a cat finally begins to show you attention.

Sorry to overwhelm you with so many impressions, and thanks for reading this rather big post to the end!

I won't write such long posts anymore!

Feel free to write the long posts. I like them.

I’m looking up the first Hiroaki Samura manga, that art there looks sickkk! Also, I very much enjoyed the longer post, it was very insightful actually! 🙏

Очень и очень рекомендую! Мне не понравилось только то, что манга слишком короткая, хочется ещё. ( ` ω ´ )

Надо будет не забыть тоже заказать «Кошачий дневник». Будет моей первой мангой от Дзюндзи Ито :D

No need to be sorry! Write as long posts as you want, it’s YOUR content/feed. 👍🏼 I myself like longer posts anyway, always appreciate when someone sees the effort to post more of their opinions and thoughts on something, instead of keeping stuff super short.

I appreciate the long posts 🙂
