Next update before the end of August

Hey guys, 

Hopefully the worst has passed and I can safely say, I finally can deliver some new work before the end of August.

I'm in phase of music and sounds and for those of you who were here long enough you'll know it usually takes about a week. Then I'll send it for proofreading and gametesting again and then it will be ready!

Now. I decided to call this version 0.25. 

-Why not 0.3?

-Because the main story will not advance. But wait. As I've already said, graphics and most of the animation of 0.3 are almost ready so I believe the 0.3 will be ready very soon. Maybe even a month!

For 0.25 I did some work to improve the content already present plus I added a new side story (optional) with a new character (Lea) and 6 scenes.

As stated in my last message, unfortunately your saved games will not be compatible. But I think it will be worth it. So, here comes the changelog:

• Tabletop play now is way FASTER
• Added object cards (Pager, TravelGuide Book, Walkman). 

The book unlocks side stories, events, encounters in random squares. So far, it only unlocks Santa Monica (Pier,beach and Will Roger's beach) but others will follow with side stories (Introducing Lea with 6 new scenes so far) that end the round and encounters that don't.

The walkman unlocks Skipping dice rolling feature (Auto round)

• Changed gameboard graphics with images of  L.A. in the 90s
• MC can also watch TV now (10 random sequences of 1999 TV)
• Changed background music (So far 6 random tracks).
• Icon that shows MJ's type (Spoiled,Friendly,Reserved)
• Added some new frames at the intro

To conclude: When you play 0.25 you'll see that the change was important. I basically took the positive but mostly negative feedback and tried to work with it! My worst problem in the game design was that the tabletop part was already grindy! Imagine what would have happened in round 70 or 200! So, I had to do something about it! And there will be more in the future too. But for now it's great!

Parents don't easily see the faults of their child. The same thing happens with creators. Just because this game is mine, I love it! But I cannot easily be objective about it. That's why feedback is important!
