Making My Own Waves

I am a bit intimidated by the ocean, so I have never imagined that I would be a surfer. But, I was so impressed the first time I saw someone surf skating. I was so impressed with the grace and beauty of the motions!

It is a sport that is often used by surfers to maintain skills and practice during the off season.

Over the past few months, I've made some real improvement with surf skating. I'd never so much as set a foot on an actual skateboard, so I wasn't sure I'd be able to learn this at all. I haven't had this much fun since I learned to ride a bicycle!

I've also learned a few tricks about filming this. I'm pleased to be making my own waves where I'm comfortable: on land. And I'm thrilled to be able to capture my progress and share it with you!
