Growing up, Snares felt forced to wear a figurative mask he never chose in order to please his family. It wasn't until he left home and discovered the furry fandom that he blossomed into a free and boundless version of himself... with the help of a literal mask! This time, it was one of his own choosing and gave him the confidence to express himself honestly.
