Ayer, antes de irme a la cama pensé en despertarme pronto e ir a dar una vuelta en bicicleta, así que voy a coger la bicicleta del garaje y me voy a ir a dar una vuelta por el pueblo.

Yesterday, before I went to bed, I thought I'd wake up early and go for a bike ride, so I'm going to take the bike from the garage and go for a ride around town.

La primera parada va a ser la mansión de las manos, que es uno de mis sitios favoritos.

The first stop will be the Hands Mansion, which is one of my favorite places.

Es una mansión rara, rara, rara que mi hermana y yo nos encontramos cuando íbamos en bicicleta, con mi padre, cuando éramos pequeñas, y ahora la han renovado, la han pintado y no parece tan tan horrorífica.

It's a weird, weird, weird mansion that my sister and I came across on our bikes, with my dad, when we were little, and now it's been renovated, painted over, and it doesn't look so so scary.

Tiene más agujeros esta carretera que madre mía.

This road has more holes that oh my goodness.

Y... acabamos de llegar.

And... we just got here.

Esta de aquí es la mansión de las manos. ¿Por qué la llamamos mi hermana y yo la mansión de las manos? Pues porque tiene manos y un poco del brazo saliendo de las paredes y es rarísimo pero súper chulo, entonces nos encanta, nos encanta esta casa.

This right here is the hands mansion. Why do my sister and I call it the hands mansion? Well, because it has hands and a bit of the arm sticking out of the walls and it's very strange but super cool, so we love it, we love this house.

Todas esas cosas que salen de ahí, todo eso son manos, es una cosa rarísima y que yo no entiendo, o sea qué arquitecto cogió y dijo: le voy a poner manos a esta casa.

All those things that come out of there, all of those are hands, it's a very strange thing and that I don't understand, I mean, what architect got up and said: I'm going to put hands on this house.

Y pues ahí están, o sea es una cosa fascinante, fascinante.

Eso no me había fijado yo. Mirad. En esta parte las manos son negras y en esta parte son como del color de la pared. Así que esta parte de la casa sí que está habitada y esta está súper abandonada.

Yo creo que en el pasado estaba todo abandonada y era un rollazo súper guay porque es que está esta casa casi casi en medio de la nada, o sea mirar esta carretera de mala muerte, aquí está el descampado y allí al fondo hay unos cultivos. Entonces es que no hay nada.

I think that in the past everything was abandoned and it was super cool because this house is almost almost in the middle of nowhere, I mean look at this seedy road, here is an open field and there are some crops in the background. So there is really nothing.

Me han dado un montón de churros, yo creo que tengo:

Por aquí tenemos una de las playitas de Mazarrón.

Esta se llama la playa de la isla y se llama la playa de La Isla porque ahí hay una gran Isla.

Hay veces que cogemos un kayak y venimos desde aquí y damos toda la vuelta a la isla.

Ahí tenemos el tractor aplanando la playa a altas horas de la mañana.

Una tradición clasiquísima de esta playa, es que cuando nos acordamos de traernos dinero, porque no solemos traernos dinero a la playa, pero cuando nos acordamos, nos vamos al chiringuito de allí.

A very classic tradition of this beach is that when we remember to bring money, because we don't usually bring money to the beach, but when we remember, we go to the beach bar there. 

Este sitio de aquí es un chiringuito. Es un chiringuito en el que venden patatas.

This place here is a beach bar. It is a beach bar where they sell potatoes.

Patatas asadas, patatas bravas y caracoles con tomate por ejemplo. Tienen varias tapas y la verdad es que después de estar toda la mañana en la playa, unas tapas en el chiringuito vienen súper bien.

Roasted potatoes, patatas bravas and snails with tomato for example. They have several tapas and the truth is that after spending the whole morning at the beach, some tapas at the beach bar taste really good.
