Hoy vengo a contaros una historia muy triste, ¿vale? Es una historia muy triste, para llorar, pero sé que no vais a llorar, porque es una historia muy triste de hace mucho tiempo, y cuando las historias tristes son de hace mucho tiempo, en vez de dar pena, te dan risa.

Pero sobre esa edad, y es la historia de aquella vez en la que me encerré en el baño del colegio, para comer mi bocadillo sentada en el retrete. Esto no fue por decisión propia obviamente no dije:

Veréis en España estamos en el colegio por la mañana y por la tarde.

Tenemos clase de 9 a 13 por ejemplo y tenemos una pausa para comer de 13 a 15 ¿vale? Para comer y jugar, y después de 15 a 17 tenemos otras dos horas de clase.

Pues bien a la hora de comer tienes dos opciones: la opción 1 que es quedarte en el colegio a comer con tus  compañeros y luego jugar el tiempo que sobra, o la opción 2 que es irte a tu casa a comer.

Yo era de las pocas personas que se iba a su casa a comer. La mayoría de niños se quedaban en el colegio, y comían en el comedor del colegio que era lo normal porque los padres normalmente no tienen el tiempo para recogerte o no tienen a una persona que te pueda recoger y te haga la comida y te cuide ¿no?

Pero en mi casa si que teníamos a una persona que nos venía a recoger a mi hermana, y a mí y nos llevaba a casa, comíamos, veíamos la tele- Que es la gran ventaja de ir a comer a casa, podíamos ver la tele y los dibujos de las 2 de la tarde, a las 2 de la tarde había dibujos y después volvíamos al colegio para hacer las dos últimas horas ¿no? Por una parte estaba genial porque comer en casa tenía muchas ventajas ¿no?

Y se me acerca una profesora.

And a teacher approaches me.

No sé si ya me había dado clase o no, pero la profesora tenía fama de ser mala.

Así, el ceño fruncido, estaba todo el día de mala ostia, yo no sé qué le pasaba a esa señora.

Pero la señora de la mala ostia, la profesora, daba lengua... Lengua española, se me acerca.

Y me dice: ¿Qué haces aquí? ¿Qué estás comiendo? ¿Se puede saber?

And she says to me: What are you doing here? What are you eating? Can I know?

¡Ah no! Espera, espera, espera. ¿Qué estoy diciendo? No, no, no, no, no.

Estoy equivocándome de historia. Eso no me pasó.

Lo que me pasó fue que yo soy gilipollas. Yo soy gilipollas, y entonces no sé, soy la típica niña, era la típica niña que siempre ha sentido la necesidad de validación ¿vale?

Y entonces buscando validación, como siempre, me acerqué a la profesora que estaba al mando del comedor y le dije: mira "R" que hoy no podían recogernos y mi madre nos ha dado este bocadillo para comer hoy aquí en el comedor, y pues eso ¿no? O sea como que buscando el permiso.

No lloré. Pero me sentía muy mal y entonces me fui del comedor y efectivamente dije: Estoy haciendo algo que no se puede hacer. No se puede hacer, me ha dicho "R" que no lo puedo hacer esto. ¿Qué hago? ¿Dónde me como mi bocadillo? Me voy a morir de hambre.

No, I didn't cry. But I felt very bad and so I left the canteen and said: I am doing something that cannot be done. It can't be done, "R" told me that I can't do this. What I do? Where do I eat my sandwich? I'm going to starve. 

Y entonces me fui al baño del patio.

And so I went to the playground's bathroom.

No había nadie, estaba todo el mundo en el comedor, y me encerré, me puse el pestillo, me encerré. Me senté en el váter, en la taza del váter, en el retrete.

There was no one, everyone was in the canteen, and I locked myself in, I locked myself, I locked myself in. I sat on the toilet, on the toilet bowl, on the toilet.

Me desenvolví mi bocadillo y me puse a comerme mi bocadillo así.

¡Qué me había hecho mi madre con tanto amor! Eso es lo que más me dolía, en plan que me había dicho: ¡No! No puedes comerte el bocadillo de tu madre. Y yo: es el bocadillo de mi madre, ¡me lo ha hecho con amor!

That had my mother prepared for me with so much love! That's what hurt me the most, like she had told me: No! You can't eat your mother's sandwich. And I was like: it's my mother's sandwich, she made it for me with love!

Y... Y bueno. Y entonces pues eso, terminé de comer y creo que luego por la tarde se lo dije a mi madre.

And... And well. That's that, I finished eating and I think that later in the afternoon I told my mother.

Porque mi hermana comió su bocadillo en el comedor, ahí tan tranquila, tan pancha.

Because my sister ate her sandwich in the dining room, without a care in the world.

O sea a ella no la dijeron nada, y eso fue porque ella no fue a preguntar, simplemente se sentó, se lo comió y se fue a jugar. Pero yo no, yo soy gilipollas y fui en búsqueda de validación.

En búsqueda de que una profesora me dijera: "Sí Laura." Y pues eso.

Mamá hoy e comido en el baño del colegio porque no se podía comer el bocadillo en el patio, en el comedor.

Y mi madre flipó, porque claro dijo: Cómo le puede hacer esto una profesora, a una niña de 10 años.  Me lo explicas. Por qué no lo entiendo. Eso dijo mi madre. Y entonces mi madre se fue a quejar a la profesora.
