Hoy tenemos esta foto de aquí que nos ha mandado Pawel de Laponia en Finlandia.

Today we have this photo here that Pawel from Lapland in Finland sent us.

Para empezar laponia está muy muy al norte.

To begin with, Lapland is very, very far north.

Y en el norte hace mucho frío. Hace mucho frío y en esta foto podemos ver que hace frío, porque hay mucha nieve en el suelo. Hay mucha nieve en el suelo. Y en esta foto está nevando.

And in the north it is very cold. It is very cold and in this photo we can see that it is cold, because there is a lot of snow on the ground. There is a lot of snow on the ground. And in this photo it is snowing.

Aquí se pueden ver los copos de nieve. Yo tengo un copo de nieve.

Here you can see snowflakes. I have a snowflake.

Esto de aquí es un copo de nieve. Pero es de plástico.

This right here is a snowflake. But it is made of plastic.

Pero esto son copos de nieve de verdad, son copos de nieve y cuando caen los copos de nieve, está nevando. En esta foto está nevando mucho, pero Pawel (este de aquí) está sentado, está sentado en esta silla de madera, o en esta hamaca de madera y no lleva ropa. Solo lleva unos pantalones cortos y unas chanclas.

But these are real snowflakes, they are snowflakes, and when the snowflakes fall, it's snowing. In this photo it's snowing a lot, but Pawel (this guy here) is sitting, he's sitting on this wooden chair, or on this wooden hammock and he's wearing almost no clothes. He's just wearing shorts and flip flops.

Esto son chanclas.

These are flip flops.

Está prácticamente desnudo,  pero es muy guay.

He's practically naked, but it looks really nice/cool.

Y además Pawel se lo está pasando muy bien, se está divirtiendo, se está divirtiendo porque tiene aquí en la mano una cerveza. Tiene un tercio de cerveza, una botella.

And besides, Pawel is having a great time, he is having fun, he is having fun because he has a beer in his hand here. He has a 330ml beer, a bottle.

Aquí detrás de Pawel hay un Hostal, esto es un Hostal que se llama 7 Bells.

Here behind Pawel there is a hostel, this is a hostel called 7 Bells.

Y tiene una puerta muy grande de color blanco con dos carteles. Uno y dos carteles.

And it has a very large white door with two signs. One and two signs.

Este cartel, más grande dice recepción, y este cartel más pequeño dice abierto.

This larger sign says reception, and this smaller sign says open.

Y al lado de la entrada, aquí bajando-

And next to the entrance, here going down-

Hay uno y dos escalones de madera, como la silla. La silla también de madera.

There are one and two wooden steps, like the chair. The chair is also made of wood.

Y hay unas herramientas para  quitar la nieve. Aquí han quitado la nieve para llegar a la entrada.

And there are some snow removal tools. Here they have cleared the snow to get to the entrance.

A la puerta que da a la recepción. Detrás de Pawel tenemos otra silla de madera y un cono, porque esto es un cono.

At the door leading to the reception. Behind Pawel we have another wooden chair and a cone, because this is a cone.

Esto también es un cono, un cono... Más o menos...

This is also a cone, a cone... More or less...

Y este cono es un árbol Yo creo que es como un árbol de navidad.

And this cone is a tree. I think it's like a Christmas tree.

Y detrás del Hostal hay árboles de verdad hay varios pinos hay uno, dos, tres pinos.

And behind the hostel there are real trees, there are several pine trees, there are one, two, three pine trees.

Y hay más árboles, por aquí. Podemos ver aquí el ambiente navideño con la nieve... encima.

And there are more trees, over here. We can see here the Christmas atmosphere with the snow... above.

No debajo, encima del tejado, este es el tejado, y le da un toque muy navideño.

Not under, above the roof, this is the roof, and it gives it a very Christmassy touch.
