2025-05-24 20:39:18 +0000 UTCThey explain a lot of the backstory to these episodes on the sister show “the basement tapes”. Also on freevee. The crew was there literally 21 hours a day. There were two sets of film crews.. The garage had a “video village” built into it so production could be hidden. That’s why they were able to film Sharon at 2am cleaning the fridge. If the kids didn’t go out that night, or didn’t have friends over, production would go home for the night. Some episodes also have days in between filming since Aimee was not a part of it, and needed time with her family still. During Sharon’s cancer, production stopped for a month (or so) and that’s never mentioned on the show. It’s shown as if it’s just one day latter. Yet Sharon is wearing a wig (albeit, a GOOD one) in the next episode which means she’s clearly into her treatment already.
