Minis and Boss Encouters

I don't have any new concept art this week because I had to travel and have been busy preparing for my upcoming Kickstarter launch. It's all still connected to the work on the RPG, so I wanted to give you a little preview of what I'm cooking up in the immediate future.

The example card above is a quick first pass at the design and layout for the boss cards. Please be patient with me as I work with my writer to finish them up.

Minis

This collection will have 7 minis, but my campaign will only be selling 6 of them. Hasmed, Angel of Annihilation will be part of Comet Lord's Kickstarter campaign that will also be launching in September. Pictured above are some test prints. I'm still waiting on the test print for Leliel, and the final pieces have a few tweaks from the copies I have in hand.

The lineup for my campaign will be:

• Uriel, Angel of Flame

• Ananiel, Angel of Storms

• Gadreel, Angel of War

• Simikiel, Angel of Vengeance

• Sahaqiel, Angel of the Sky

• Leliel, Angel of Night

The final pieces will be molded resin and stand about 10cm each. You can see the scale with the books pretty clearly in this photo. Each one will be sold separately since they are expensive to produce but they'll all include a set of DnD compatible boss encounter cards.

Boss Encounters

In advance of the big adventure guide I'm building, I'm working with experienced RPG writers to craft official stats and abilities for 8 unique Angelic boss encounters. Each encounter will include a stat card for the Boss, plus a lair card that transforms whatever landscape you place them in. Upon defeating the Angel, you will get to pick from one of two included loot cards to equip your party. Altogether, the deck consists of 32 cards featuring quite a bit of new art and writing.

Each package in the Kickstarter will contain at least one resin miniature kit along with the full deck of boss encounter cards. I don't have any current plans to sell the boss cards by themselves yet.
