Biome Preview - Shimmering Basin

The open landscape and plentiful water make it an ideal home for many of the Aether's creatures
What sort of Aether fish would you like to see inhabiting the Basin biome?

If the Aether is above the clouds, then how do lakes form? No precipitation means no rivers nor drainage basins. Hmmm maybe some huge megaflora draw up the moisture from the overworld (like those sky-high redwood), and moa or other intelligent animals (or previous explorers) drain it for water like we do with syrup.
