Republic or Empire?

As you may remember, the story of the game takes place during the Clone Wars, shortly before Order 66. However, the more I think about the story and develop the content, the more I realize that the story of the game would fit better during the days of the Galactic Empire. It would also make more sense that Shana hides her Force abilities and lightsaber. In the Republic, she, in general, has no one to hide from, while in the Empire, as you know, being a Jedi is unhealthy :)

In addition, the Empire provides a lot of freedom in terms of game development, as there are many more ready-made 3D models and other content for this era. In addition, Palpatine saw the Empire as primarily human, which means that other races will be relegated to the background, which is also more convenient in terms of game development, since the creation and animation of alien models requires a considerable amount of time. Of course, they will be in any case, but their not so large percentage among the population of game locations would be more logical precisely for imperial times.

This issue needs to be resolved now, as the demo is almost ready for release, but is still available for some story and content changes. Currently, only Tatooine exists in the game, and Tatooine is pretty much the same in the Republic as it is in the Empire, so the transition to another era will require only minor changes in some models and texts.
